“Could’ve easily been a close game and you may think it was a close game if you look at the scoreboard. The main issue with that thinking is Seattle couldn’t get anything from their hitters so they never had a chance. We cannot hit but gosh darn it our pitching is still great. Mackenzie Gore has his first GREAT game as a Ranger. I wish it was more than 5 innings, but I will never complain about 5 innings of shutout ball while allowing just 1 hit and racking up 9 Ks. He was dealing and I’m now very happy that we traded for him. Speaking of recent acquisitions, Brandon Nimmo is an on-base machine. Love how he has played so far too. Ironically it was the bottom of our lineup doing the heavy lifting (along with an error from Connor Joe). Still, when your pitching staff racks up 13 Ks and only allows 2 hits for an entire game, it’s hard not to win. Overall, it was a pretty good game. Pitching was super fun to watch. Woo was great too. But like I said, wasn’t as close as the scoreboard says. ”

Could’ve easily been a close game and you may think it was a close game if you look at the scoreboard.
