@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Flames vs Blue Jackets

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Flames vs Blue Jackets game 8.9 out of 10 in NHL on January 14, 2026. Final score: Flames 3 – Blue Jackets 5. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Great game between 2 teams that are connected forever. Immediate downer in this game because Blake Coleman was put on the IR. Flames clearly felt the loss. They looked all out of sorts in the first 10 minutes; letting the Blue Jackets have almost complete control and pepper Wolf. Then, the Flames figured it out and got some chances of their own. That type of sequence happened all game long. Flames would get dick stomped for a bit, let the Jackets get a ton of shots. Then, the Flames would gather themselves, take the puck and get some chances themself. The save percentages won’t be kind to them, but Wolf and Greaves were spectacular, made the game close and intense thanks to all the wizardry they had to do between the pipes. The Flames were power play merchants and Ras stood out. Both killing penalties and quarterbacking power plays that were responsible for all 3 goals. For the Blue Jackets, Coyle was awesome to watch, he was relentless on both sides. Jenner also made Mr. Hockey proud.
