@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Rays vs Guardians

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Rays vs Guardians game 3.0 out of 10 in MLB on April 28, 2026. Final score: Rays 1 – Guardians 0. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Had some hype coming in and I left this game disappointed. Travis Bazzana made his MLB debut in this one, so I had to catch it. Sadly, the former #1 overall pick’s debut was not as dramatic nor climactic as Konnor Griffin. Partially thanks to the Rays being cowards. Could’ve had an epic moment for the kid’s debut, but they just had to intentionally walk him. That anti-climax hurts this game in my mind. Rays had a heck of a day pitching-wise. Nick Martinez had a wonderful start. Even managed to keep Jose Ramirez in check. Can’t forget about Kelly getting them out of a bases loaded jam. With all that being said, their hitters weren’t exactly competent. A 5th inning rally was the difference. Normally that would make for a close game, but thanks to the aforementioned great pitching, the Guardians couldn’t get much going. Even worse, we couldn’t even get a dramatic ending. Bazzana got his first walk. That’s the only positive thing Cleveland can take from this game, besides their pitching.
