“took the light rail and met up with my family in the nosebleeds. there were so many things to love about this game: soroka’s 10 Ks + immaculate inning, corbin’s triple & HR, going up 8-0, the SAFE chant during lawler’s replay review, the $1.50 budweiser promotion. unfortunately, a lot of the life was sucked out of the stadium after joe ross gave up 5 runs in the 7th inning and ryan thompson couldn’t get a single out to put an end to it. crazy how you can’t even feel comfortable in an 8 run lead because you know our bullpen’s going to screw us. why torey didn’t pull him after cutting the lead in half, i have no clue. good thing our offense was on fire. still waiting on arenado to be good. don’t expect anything from santana though. also, probably won’t see another game at chase field this season because of the broken AC. i couldn’t care less about a bigger scoreboard. we live in phoenix for gods sake, fix the AC.”
