@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Blackhawks vs Avalanche

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Blackhawks vs Avalanche game 5.4 out of 10 in NHL on February 28, 2026. Final score: Blackhawks 1 – Avalanche 3. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

This could’ve been a pounding if not for the man between the pipes in Chicago. It is nice to see Spencer Knight return to form; because, good lord, it’s like the Blackhawks used all the information in the first 5 minutes to get a few good chances, then just flatlined for 50 minutes and woke up for the last 5 minutes only to pass out once again after Cale Makar scored that empty netter. A big chunk of my entertainment value in this game came from Spencer Knight saving the Blackhawks repeatedly and I need to give him credit for that. Hell, he probably sends this game to overtime if not for an unlucky bounce off the Blackhawks in front of him. Even with that in mind, there is only so much a goalie can do against all of Colorado’s firepower, including a certain defensemen. Along with strangling many of Chicago’s chances, Cale Makar was a demon in the offensive zone. Setting up chances and taking his own until he finally beat Spencer right before the end of the 2nd and sealed it in the 3rd.
