“Not Cease’s best work but I appreciate he and the team being willing to push past 100 pitches. Home runs galore, including a 453-foot bomb from Big Kaz! People rag on Vladdy for not hitting much for power yet, and while I think that’s very overblown, I do believe there is a psychologically uplifting aspect to having someone (anyone) on the team getting those loud celebratory moments. Big hits give big energy. And the face of the franchise Vladdy *should* be a big part of that, but it’s nice to see others step in to fill that need when he can’t make it happen. (I was watching this at the same time as the Frost/Victoire game, which was great. It’s crazy this place doesn’t have PWHL games available.)”
