“I loved having Tyler O’Neill on the Sox. Dude was absolutely jacked and seemed like a fun guy to have in the clubhouse. After a Duran double he drove him in for the first run of a nice little first inning rally that scored 3 big early runs on Carlos Rodon. Of course, the Sox allowed the Yankees to take two back immediately in the second, because why wouldn’t they? Super fun to nearly blow the great lead you just got. Thankfully, Raffy made the lead 3 again. I miss Devers so much. Fuck you Craig Breslow and fuck you John Henry. In the 5th, Justin Slaten clutched up big time, getting out of a bases loaded 1 out jam to keep our 5-2 lead safe. Slaten is such a demon man I’m so glad he recovered from his injury and is absolutely mowing guys down now. Yet again in the 8th, we escaped a bases loaded 1 out jam relatively unscathed, only allowing 1 to keep a 6-4 lead. In the bottom of the 8th, we got a couple insurance runs and Kenley finished things off. Red Sox on RateGame Tracker: 4-2”
