“Kosovo officially became an independent nation in 2008. The IPhone is older than their nation. They had a chance to make it to their first ever World Cup. Instead, they got screwed by bad calls that hurt them. The goal Turkey scored was offside. From every angle I saw, it was offside and despite even the commentators assuming that the goal would be called back, it stood and ended up being the winner. My rating reflects my frustration with a game that could’ve been great being sullied by a bad call that ended up being the difference. Kosovo became more desperate with their attacking, only for Turkey to shut them down as they parked the bus and just waited for this game to end. There were plenty of bitter feelings in this game that kept it tense, but I can’t shake the bitter feelings of that missed offside. Especially when a horrible foul call in favour of Turkey shut down Kosovo’s final chance. I’m not suggesting it was rigged, I’m only saying that bad officiating muddied the waters.”
