“blessed to have seen both 1/16 upsets live and this one felt different from UMBC/Virginia. purdue had the arguably best player in the country in zach edey and FDU was only in the tournament in the first place on a technicality. this felt like most 1 seeds being in trouble where they always hang around, tie it up late and win by like 7. purdue though was in the midst of insane march madness chokes having lost to a 15 seed the previous year. FDU was able to contain edey as much as any team he played this year and played extremely good defense. a real argument that this is the greatest upset in march madness history.”
