“That 7th inning was one of the best innings of Red Sox baseball all year. Loaded the bases with 1 out, down 4-3, but then came 1 strike away from getting nothing of it. Wilyer Abreu made sure that didn’t happen, drawing a walk to set up for Yoshida’s huge 2 RBI knock and then IKF (who’s been on fire lately) and Caleb Durbin (who has started to look like a competent hitter) extend the lead to 9-4. This offense is just so weird, every once in a while we will just have one huge inning but otherwise they do nearly nothing. Suarez certainly wasn’t at his best today, but his strikeout stuff was nice racking up 10 in 5 innings. All that being said, the Guardians are a very solid team and getting a series win in their ballpark is a huge morale booster.”
