The Dallas Stars opened up a can of whoop ass on the Anaheim Ducks in this one. The Texas Rattlesnake would be proud. It also shows polarity between the best in the Central vs. the Pacific. The first 5 minutes was the closest this game ever got to competitive. 7 goals on 15 shots through 2 periods. Even worse, right after the Ducks scored early in the 3rd, maybe get some momentum back, hype up the crowd, Dallas scored on their first shot and made it 8 goals in 16 shots and put a muzzle on every Duck fan in the Honda Center. It was a bad night to be a Duck, but perhaps the goalies had it the toughest, especially after Dostal’s early flub and subsequent 1st given up goal less 3 minutes into the game setting the tone. Meanwhile, the Stars were spreading the love. Nearly every skater got a point and 7 different skaters scored a goal. You could throw a dart to decide which Stars skater played the best and probably get a viable candidate. Despite that, I appreciated Anaheim trying in the 3rd
