Vibes Kings of 2024-25 vs. Vibe Kings of 2025-26. Surprisingly, last season’s vibe kings won. Not only did they win, they outplayed the Sharks. The shots will tell you that and it is accurate, although I’d say it’s exaggerating. Ironically, there was plenty of animosity in the first period. Pospisil saw to that when he laid out Ferraro. In that 1st, you got a taste of how each team was gonna break each other down. The Sharks were gonna try and break the Flames’ defensive structure, that’s how Smith scored the first goal, finding the hole and beating Wolf just barely. The Flames on the other hand knew they couldn’t out-talent the Sharks so they decided to outwork them. Frost personified this as he was brilliant. Not only setting up chances but working his ass off for his goal and assist. An assist that he likely got because he inspired young Gridin to do the same and it got him his 2nd career goal. The Sharks got peppered but had their chances at the end, only for Wolf to shut it down.
