“This was not a very entertaining game, but at least this would be the last time the Angels lost to the Dodgers in 2025! The Angels were in a hole early after Will Smith hit a two run home run in the second, and they were never able to recover. They would get on the board soon after with a Logan O’Hoppe RBI single, but that would end up being their only hit all game. The Halos would do a great job preventing any chances for the Dodgers though. This game would stay within reach, but there were never any chances for the Angels to get back into this game. The Dodgers would add on some more runs finally in the ninth as they take down the Halos, and win the spring training freeway series. Again, thankfully the Angels wouldn’t drop any game against the Doyers in any game that actually counted!”
