Georgetown breaks a four-game losing streak against DePaul with a relatively ho-hum win that they controlled pretty much the whole way. The Hoyas did a great job keeping DePaul out of the paint in the first half, and the Blue Demons resorted to taking a bunch of tough jumpers. Second half was a lot more back and forth, but it never felt like Georgetown was at risk of letting it slip away like some other games this season. Malik Mack didn’t have the most aesthetically pleasing game but finished with 16 points and seven assists. Three other Hoyas scored in double figures. Really liked what I saw from Kayvaun Mulready too. Georgetown improves to 3-7 in Big East play while DePaul falls to 4-6.
