@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Wildcats vs Cyclones

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Wildcats vs Cyclones game 4.6 out of 10 in CBB on March 22, 2026. Final score: Wildcats 63 – Cyclones 82. R2. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Iowa State and Kentucky was a classic example of an ugly game that cleaned up enough to not be an eye-sore. The first half was absolutely disgusting and not in a good way. Iowa State went down early and their offense looked horrific. They shot below 30% in the half. It took 12 3-point attempts before they made one. They looked extremely sloppy and yet they somehow had the lead going into halftime. How is that possible? Well, because the only thing Iowa State did well was get to the free throw line and Kentucky kept making terrible mistakes that would bail out Iowa State. The question going into the 2nd half was if Iowa State’s sloppy play would catch up with them or if Kentucky would blow a golden opportunity to get the upset. Turns out the latter happened. Iowa State got less sloppy, Kentucky remained mistake-prone and the Cyclones blew the competition away. Tamin Lipsey finished with the best game of his career, including a career-high in points. Much-needed in Jefferson’s absence.
