“Dembélé. What. A. Performance. He bagged 3 goals in the first 34 minutes, and once again proved that he is a top winger in world football. Dembélé, Olise, Mbappé, Doué; this is not a fair attack. And it's not just individual talent; Dembélé's first two goals both came off two nice through balls by Mbappé. If France is able to keep possession in their games, other teams are going to struggle heavily to defend them. They have excellent options on all facets of their attack, and their only real weakness is their defense and complacency, which was shown by Norway's only goal. Right after Dembélé's second goal, Norway took just 14 seconds to strike back. Aasgaard (phenomenal name btw) was able to easily stroll past Upamechano and slide the ball into the bottom corner. If France can keep their intensity and not rely purely on their offensive output, they will be a much more complete and dynamic squad. They will (very likely) meet Germany in the R16, and that is a match I am very worried abt.”
