Don’t let the relatively low shots on goal fool you, this was not a slow game. Quite the opposite actually along with being a textbook back and forth game. What this game lacked in saves, it made up for with slick plays and chance creation, most of them coming from Montreal with all their forward talent on full display alongside Lane Hutson, just without the plenty of shots on goal. But the Kraken scrapped out a tight game and it even looked like the 360 McCann goal was gonna win it until a nasty deke from Demidov tied it and sent this game to OT. While that OT unfortunately slowed this game right down as neither team wanted to make a fatal mistake. Although it did end with a well placed Caufield shot off an assist from a zig zagging Hutson. Hell of a game.
