Don’t let the final score fool you, this game was closer than you think. Although it did hurt my soul watching Vladar struggle a bit in this one, this was a pretty good tight game. Certainly could’ve been better, but it was close to the green for me. The Flyers got any and all momentum sucked out of them when that bad giveaway from behind the net basically set up the Chandler Stephenson goal and doubled the Kraken’s lead. Even then, they still put pressure on the Kraken, only for Eeli Tolvanen to put the game to bed. The Flyers then scored to cut the lead to 2. Only for Tolvanen to score almost immediately after Vladar hopped over the bench. The Kraken got some lucky breaks meanwhile the Flyers couldn’t get any luck to save their lives. Still, Kraken took advantage of their breaks, can’t fault them for that.
