The Sharks keep finding ways to win in the craziest way, defying all logic and their own mistakes. This is just another example and it made for an awesome, fast-paced, back and forth game. The Sharks have a great forward core for now and the future. That potential and prowess was on full display in this one. On the other hand, the defense and goaltending need some work. You know it’s bad when you’re committing goaltender interference on yourself. I was ready to talk about how they still had a way to go. Sharks proved me wrong. Alex Nedeljkovic locked in the insane final minute of play and made a vital save to send the game to overtime. It only went to overtime thanks Tyler Toffoli, Jeff Skinner and Adams Gaudette. All recent acquisitions and a credit to Sharks’ GM Mike Grier. That Toffoli winner sent a shot of adrenaline for me, I can only imagine how incredible that felt for Sharks fans. Amazing experience.
