“Jose Ramirez and Nathaniel Lowe with 2 run homers each but Chase DeLauter stole the show! 4 for 4 and absolutely dominated. The fact that McGonigle is so far and away the favorite for AL Rookie of the Year shocks me. Really it should be Payton Tolle, but that's a discussion for another time, I'm here to talk about McGonigle vs DeLauter. DeLauter clears him in batting average, slugging, and OPS, and beats him out by 2 in RBI. McGonigle only has 1 more homer. And McGonigle has played 17 more games than DeLauter. DeLauter has statistically been far and away the better player this year, and while I think McGonigle is more impactful of a player, the difference between the two should not be so vast.”
