All the talk about the Alien playing for San Antonio made us forget about the anomaly playing for Golden State. Chef Curry with a performance I want to call vintage, but he basically did this two nights ago. Nearly 50 points. 9 3pointers, perfect from the line and one of his signature floating and-ones for good measure. Jimmy Buckets did just enough to supplement Curry’s efforts and help secure the dub. Don’t think that Alien went down quietly, he did multiple things that made me question if I was watching a clip from NBA 2K. While Fox played well, I really feel like he lost touch right at the end, a shame that Wemby didn’t get that final shot. Very tight game all the way through, neither team had a lead larger than 10 points, but the Chef cooked the alien tonight.
