“And a sweep at the hands of the Diamondbacks. To be fair, the D-Backs were now 75-56 after this, coming off a World Series loss hungry for redemption. While they haven't come close to doing what they did in 2023, they have been a solid team and are certainly in playoff contention down the stretch here. Another bad start in a very inconsistent stretch from Tanner Houck. Can't even call it a bad stretch because he had some very good starts mixed in there, but also some bad ones. That home run from Shohei Ohtani in the All Star game killed him. He was inconsistent the rest of 2024 and terrible in 2025 before he got hurt, and now I don't even know if he still exists. Holy shit dude I just tried to search up when will Tanner Houck return on google and when I typed in "when will Tanner Houck" the first two suggested results were "be sentenced" and "be executed" TANNER WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO BRO”
