“My dad lived in New York when the Giants and Dodgers were still on the East Coast, but somehow he hadn't seen the Yankees play until yesterday. To say that this game was a 10 from start to finish would be an absolute lie. A lot of it was painful, and it didn't help to be surrounded by the cockiest people on the planet Earth who REALLY hate Juan Soto. It was embarrassing for them! The only other times my dad has seen the Mets at Citi Field, it was a walkoff win in extras. I'm convinced that I need to bring this guy to every game of the season because something magic happened in the ninth inning and I walked out on cloud nine. True 10 game? I don't know, but I saw the Mets get a sorely needed win that also broke their "trailing in the 8th inning" streak and I had a fantastic time with a fantastic person at da freakin' Subway Series. What more could a guy ask for?”
