This one got my heart pumping in good and bad ways. Holy cow, what a breath of fresh air. It’s amazing what happens when you put in a capable QB instead of a someone who has no business running an offense. 1 quarter in tho, I was not feeling good. Looked like more of what we had seen in the last few games, but then quarters 2 and 3 were rock solid, only to falter in the 4th thanks to a crazy throw and catch by Caleb and DJ. I fear what would’ve happened if not for DHop getting away with a facemask and Keaton Mitchell running the ball well. Even with more injuries that spiked my blood pressure, the defense did just enough and FINALLY showed some actual promise despite all the yards they gave up. Mike Green got his first sack, Nate Wiggins got an interception and an actual goal-line stand to seal the victory. Caleb Williams had some crazy plays, but just as many wild plays I didn’t understand.
