“The game was close, but still felt boring for the most part. Kirby pitched amazing but didn’t strike out many and instead pitched to contact which allowed him to go all 8 for the Mariners which is very rare in today’s game to pitch a complete game and take a loss. Kirby allowed 3 runs all coming in the same inning. Eovaldi also pitched well for the Rangers. Interesting to see Junis get the save opportunity tonight instead of Garcia. Something to monitor going forward who gets the bulk of the saves and high-leverage situations. ”
