“It’s really a battle in the East. Any game could cause some to drop out of the playoffs and some to get back in it even when they don’t play that day which is so crazy. Isles relying on their defense and Sorokin being in the net is what will keep them in I believe. CBJ is fighting for their position just as much as the Islanders right now and this was a game that showed that both teams are defending their spot in the playoffs and are so scared to get one regulation loss as that could be the end of the season when everyone else is feeling the same.”
