“Sheehan battled through some decent innings, stuff looked good even if he got touched up by a solid D-backs lineup. Really though this was a day for the new guys. Alex Freeland hit a BOMB to put the dodgers on the board and justify his place on the roster. Mookie Betts isn't new but he showed off a revamped power stroke after the issues he dealt with last year. Bullpen held the line and set the stage for Kyle Tucker to have his first big dodger moment driving in the game winning run and give Edwin Diaz his first save opportunity in dodger blue. The live trumpet player was icing on the cake. Solid game. The dream of 162-0 is still alive lmao”
