@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Avalanche vs Kings

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Avalanche vs Kings game 8.2 out of 10 in NHL on March 3, 2026. Final score: Avalanche 4 – Kings 2. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

The Kings somehow managed to keep up with the Avalanche. By somehow, I mean Anton Forsberg kept them in this game pretty much the whole way through. It initially looked like it would be a classic Avalanche bulldozing. Still, fair play to LA, they managed to keep up, on the scoreboard. This was in spite of it not looking good at all in the 1st period. The Avs scored in the first couple minutes and again 8 minutes later. Like I said before, thought LA would get bulldozed. I genuinely believe Clarke’s goal gave LA momentum at the end of the period. If not for that, this game wouldn’t have been close. I’m glad that it was because it made it way more entertaining. We also got a feel-good moment with Angus Booth’s (elite hockey name) first NHL goal to tie it up at 2. If this were a fairy tale, that goal would’ve won the game. Sadly, this is no fairy tale and Devon Toews didn’t blow a wide open chance in front of the net this time to score the winner with 5 minutes left. Great game overall.
