What a bummer. Lots of bad football in this one. The Football gods have decided that we cannot have good Monday Night Football AND Thursday Night Football, it’s either one or the other. The Thursday night games better be great. It started out as more of a defensive battle. Both Bryce Young and Brock Purdy were making mistakes, throwing interceptions in the end zone. Although I will say Jaycee Horn made 2 great play during his interceptions. This game could’ve been a defensive war that would’ve been close and grindy, albeit ugly too. But no. The Panthers began dropping like flies, including Jaycee Horn, giving the 49ers an express lane to victory as the Panthers offense couldn’t create anything and the defense was at the 49ers mercy. It was clear that both teams wanted this to end sooner than later. What a shame.
