Mcdavid was flying, draisaitl was a magician with the rock, and Podkolzin gets rewarded for going to the dirty areas. I thought Jarry looked solid in his oilers debut, too bad about the 3rd goal, that ruined his save %. As for the leafs, I didn’t notice nylander at all, barely Matthews, and they had so many giveaways. Scotiabank arena was a snoozefest like always, and the corporate fans take 30 minutes to go get their red wine so they miss half the periods after the intermission. Statsny looks really smooth, his skating makes up for his lack of size.
