I mean… let’s be completely honest with ourselves. Nobody expected the Giants to win and I seriously question who thought this matchup would be good. But I’ll be damned, even with the score, I thought the Giants still had a shot in the 4th. Blame it on faint memories of a couple Super Bowl upsets, me still being skeptical of the Patriots, or hopeful for the Giants, but until that last Giants drive, I thought there was still chance. Regardless of the reason, it turned a game that could’ve been bad to just kinda mid. Patriots still overwhelmed New York though. Marcus Jones’s punt return TD was a sign of the times as New England is back after going oh so long without any sustained success. Maye was pretty good but he didn’t need to do much more so I say he was more than good enough tonight. Henderson is obviously the headliner in that backfield, but Stevenson remains a decent option despite a poor reputation.
