“Predators got bodied in every way except the scoreboard. I'm honestly surprised this game was as close as it was. The Predators should've had 0 chance, but Annunnen played out of his mind to keep Nashville in it. The only problem is that he can't score the goals when the other team has a goalie between the pipes. Ingram was solid. He didn't have much action to deal with, but hey, considering Edmonton's issues, "solid" is an improvement. Plus, this makes it 2 games in a row with good goaltending from Ingram. Leon Draisaitl was brilliant, but left the game with an injury and never returned. Hopefully, it isn't serious. McDavid is still McDavid, meaning he is basically unstoppable and unparalleled even without the German next to him. Savoie helped with that and potted home a goal of his own. I also find it funny that, out of all the Predators, Feder Svechkov was the only 1 able to break through tonight. If only Stamkos had scored on any of his chances, maybe this is more interesting.”
