“A boy from the city of Miami, a boy who was doubted by Miami, a boy whose father played with the head coach of Miami, a boy who went to their games in Miami, a boy who came to my great state and made my friends feel something, took that awful team who historically is the worst of all time to this game, and a boy who put his life on the line to defeat the evil that is Carson Beck. As much as I hate IU I can say without certain that Carson Beck is the evil that is among us. He is the worst human to ever exist. I’ve hated that man since he was at Georgia. I’ve been under attack of that man’s fire since he was at Georgia. He’s been in college longer than it took us to realize where Vandy was on a map. But by the grace of God, we get to see this young man and the Hoosiers, of all teams, kill Carson Beck’s hopes and dreams on the biggest stage. I have been granted the greatest thing I’ve ever seen. Thank you Mendoza. Enjoy Vegas. Also thank you Cignetti. And last but not least fuck IU.”
