“THE FLAMES SCORE MORE THAN 3 GOALS FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS SEASON. Easily the most complete Flames performance of the year. Or you could be mean and say this was a pathetic performance by the Rangers. Although I don’t think the latter would be fair. Either way, Flames earned their 2nd win of the season. Of course, Dustin Wolf was awesome. Making a bunch of big saves, especially in the 3rd period, only giving up Laba’s first NHL goal which is always nice to see. More importantly, Kadri was the Flames’ best skater, not only scoring an early goal but also setting up many opportunities for his teammates. Coleman continues to makeup for his snake bitten season with a beautiful tic tac toe shorty with Backlund’s help. Then follows that up with a lucky goal which only begins to make up for all his bad luck last season. Sharky also finally gets a goal and Bahl gets his first of the season. Very much a feel good game for my Flames. Now I just need Honzek to finally be rewarded with his first.”
