“Some great Wednesday afternoon baseball at the Trop. Down 3-1 going into the 8th due to home runs from Pete Alonso and Samuel Basallo, the Rays mount a rally with 2 outs. A Chandler Simpson walk, Junior Caminero single, and then Jonathan Aranda comes up HUGE with a double into the right center field gap. Colton Cowser had a chance to throw pinch runner Oliver Dunn out at home but bobbled it multiple times. After a Richie Palacios RBI single, the Rays then piled on their 4th run of the inning on a costly fielding mistake by the Orioles. Embarrassing team. Last in the AL East. Yes, behind the Two Thousand Twenty Six Boston Red Sox. The Bumtimore Orioles are a poverty franchise.”
