“There’s only a handful of games in my life that take me right back to the exact time and place and the people I was with. This was in my NYC Union Square apartment on a Monday night. 25 years old and still close enough to college to live with 3 roommates (also all from college - UDel) and who also happened to be in the same Fraternity bracket and I was tied for the lead going in to this game. The other guy had UNC and when Marcus Paige hit that first 3 my roommates were destroying me and I was so pissed. They’re showing Jordan in the stands the place is going crazy I thought it was over. Then Archdiacono sets up Jenkins and when he rose up the entire motion of him shooting was in slow motion for me. I remember taking my shirt off and waving it around my head in pure euphoria it was glorious. Won the bracket on that shot. Stunned disbelief. Most underrated but incredible moment is Jay Wright immediately after just 🤷‍♂️ then🤝 to Roy Williams. The Nova Knicks - who knew?! ”
