With this Raptors win and the Pacers’ loss, for the first time ever, the Raptors have qualified for the knockout stage of the NBA cup. I know it’s the Wizard, but I was super impressed with this win. It was gradual, but the Raptors never looked completely lost and the Wizards just couldn’t keep up. The Raps passing and teamwork really ramped up in the 2nd half. Lots of wonderful team ball. I wish I could vote the entire Raptors squad for player of the game, pretty much everyone played well. Five 15-points scorers, 4 of those being 20+. Super efficient shooting. Nearly 60% overall and 50% from 3 point range. Nearly 40 assists as a team. They were firing on all cylinders. Very aesthetically pleasing for basketball purists and Raptors fans. However, there was no drama because the Raptors cruised to victory. I certainly enjoyed this one though, would love to see more of this the rest of the season.
