A great game for everyone who only watches the Vegas Golden Knights because they like Tomas Hertl. While I do like Hertl, Unfortunately, I watch hockey for more reasons besides him. I know, it’s one of my many flaws. However, I will give this rating an extra point from the 2.7 I was originally going to give it because HOLY COW HERTL, what a game. Against the team that drafted him and traded him to Vegas, Hertl puts up 5 points in a stellar performance. Ironically, this originally looked like the Jack Eichel game. Eichel scored a hard working one off a rebound and then Colin Graf worked hard for his own goal. After the first 10 minutes, the Hertl party began. It started with a smart tip pass to Dorofeyev for his first assist. Hertl then scored his first goal while surrounded by Sharks. Whitecloud then made it 2 assist for Hertl. Theodore scored off of Hertl’s face off win and Hertl put the finishing touch on this game with a blast from the face off dot. Sharks never had a chance.
