“Tyler O’Neill with an absolute bomb in the top of the first and then another one in the 3rd to give us a 4-1 lead. Seems between 2021-2024 we always had one outfielder who was just there for a year but still found a way to make a big impact. 2021 it was Hunter Renfroe. 2023 it was Adam Duvall. 2024 it was Tyler O’Neill. Now, we finally have that permanent solution in the outfield, with Ceddanne, Wilyer, and Roman. Unfortunately, we missed the peak of Duran’s value, and it would be very tough to trade him now, even though we should. Nick Pivetta was another guy that was just a solid part of the team for years. Always got hyped when he got out of an inning. I’ll never forget that 13 inning thriller against Tampa in 2021, obviously the most memorable parts were the ball bouncing off Renfroe’s arm into the bullpen and Vazquez’ walkoff 2 run bomb, but Pivetta also had a huge impact on that game and went rightfully crazy whenever he got out of a jam.
