@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Lightning vs Flames

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Lightning vs Flames game 8.4 out of 10 in NHL on March 23, 2026. Final score: Lightning 3 – Flames 4. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

The Flames are playing their best hockey at the worst time, but I cannot deny it’s fun to watch. Especially when they play a great team like Tampa and play them tough. Tyson Gross’s NHL debut came way sooner than I expected, but it was a very pleasant surprise. Ironically, this felt more like a homecoming for Calgary’s other young players. The most obvious was Hunter Brzustewicz. Bru had easily the best game of his young NHL career. He was our best D-man, everywhere on the ice, got an assist and made some amazing defensive plays to help out Cooley. Then there was Coronato and Frost who have developed great chemistry together. Finally, the true star of the game, Matvei Gridin. After a great game in regulation, he put the finishing touches in overtime. Matvei Gridin made an incredible play in OT, resisting a he pressure of JJ Moser to set up Ryan Strome for the OT winner. Incredible play, keep an eye on him, he is legit. Speaking of Strome, what an addition he’s been. Great work Conroy!
