Been hanging onto this rating for a while. Despite the final score, the Cowboys won this game pretty comfortably. Crosky-Merritt made me think, for just a second, that the Commanders had a chance, but that thought quickly left my with the next Cowboys drive. Maybe I’m being biased because I didn’t get to root for Marcus Mariota in this one, but I never thought the Commanders had a chance. Part of this may have something to do with Jadeveon Clowny bearing down on Josh Johnson. It was also nice of Deebo Samuel to show up, although I would’ve appreciated if Terry McLaurin had stuck around a bit longer. Josh needs to learn from Dak, Dak was spreading the love around to the point that Turpin was his leading receiver. Ignore that it was on 1 pass. The splash plays were cool, but I think my lack of confidence in Washington hurt the vibe for me.
