The classic Villain vs. Hero matchup. You have the former bad boys of college football back with a polarizing QB. On the other side, you have the long-suffering Hoosiers. No double digit seasons until the last 2 seasons. Good guy QB, a coach with everything to prove and a story to finish. The first half was mostly Indiana, they dominated the trenches and left Miami stunned, but the score was just 10-0. 2nd half was different. Miami stormed their way back into this game, only for Indiana to snatch momentum right as Miami was wrapping their hand around it with a blocked punt TD. Miami responded with a pair of thunder claps. Then, we got the Mendoza Moment, a dive into the endzone on 4th down to take a 2 score lead. Malachi Toney would have none of that and brought it back to a 3 point lead. Indiana would need 1 more drive. Mendoza, Cooper and Becker came up huge on 3rd downs. But a false start turned a sure TD into 3 points. It all came down to Miami’s final drive. The heroes won, IU won
