Michigan hands Nebraska their first loss of the season despite not leading between the first 1:30 and the last 3:00 in a great game. I was feeling off today so I decided to watch some college basketball and not overwhelm my brain, at least for now. Glad I did because I got treated to a great top 5 matchup. The first half was a back and forth offensive showcase while the 2nd half was much more of a slugfest. Nebraska was a two headed monster, except those heads had different sleep cycles only one could be awake at a time. In the first half, that was Jamarques Lawrence, putting up 18 points in the first half alone. Unfortunately, he went ice cold so Pryce Sandfort had to take over and put up 20 for the game. Both offenses got stifled by great defense so it came down to the boards and Michigan dominated the glass. Morez Johnson not only led the Wolverines in points, he also led them in rebounds. Take away his 12 rebounds and Michigan still would’ve had 2 more than Nebraska. Domination.
