@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Colombia vs Canada

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Colombia vs Canada game 4.8 out of 10 in WBC on March 7, 2026. Final score: Colombia 2 – Canada 8. Pool Play - A. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Closer than I would’ve liked, but a win that becomes easy eventually is always better than a loss. Watching us waste those juiced bases made me miss Freddie Freeman, although I’m very happy to have both Naylors on this squad. Their defense stole the show in the early goings and they put the finishing touches with their bats. Speaking of players I’m happy are on this team Owen Caissie and Abraham Toro looked great on this first game. Caissie opened up the scoring with a homer and Toro was always a pain for Colombia to get out. Although they weren’t nearly as difficult to deal with as Michael Arroyo whose stolen base in the first inning really set the tone for how much of a pain he was going to be. Thankfully after Arroyo cut into Canada’s lead, Canada responded and eventually pulled away in the later innings. Happy to see pitching find their groove in this game as well. Glad we won, but the game itself could’ve been better. Just an okay game overall.
