I think Justin Herbert and Jalen Hurts forgot Christmas is a few weeks away as both QBs were in a very giving-mood with all the turnovers they were throwing around. Even AJ Brown forgot the holiday has passed and gave away the ball at one point. Jokes aside, the football was very sloppy. On the plus side, it was a close game to the end. We even got OT. But the whole game has that layer of sloppiness on it. No moment defined this game better than the Eagles’ 4th and 4 in OT, the climactic moment perhaps? Nope, Oweh commits a penalty and keeps the drive alive. Then another former Raven, Tony Jefferson, ends the game with a bobbling interception. If not for Saquon Barkley giving the Giants reason #89 to regret letting him walk, the Eagles lose this game in regulation. The Chargers defense deserves a ton of credit for frazzling the Eagles and bullying their (maybe slightly overrated) offensive line. AJ Brown drops also help a defense. Pretty good game, wish it was less sloppy.
