Great day for some Kraken legends. Vince Dunn’s 600th game kicked off with a bang thanks to Stephenson setting him up for a goal just 7 minutes into the game. The hockey gods clearly liked that behaviour as they rewarded Chandler with a juicy rebound less than 3 minutes later which he put home to double the lead. It looked like it would be a routine blowout. The Canucks wouldn’t make it so simple as they made it 2-1, only for Jordan Eberle, 3rd all-time in points for the Kraken, just behind Vince Dunn, blocked a shot, took it for a breakaway and scored a goal that could’ve been an overtime winner because Vancouver never got close again. Matty Beniers
(4th all-time) extended the lead with a goal in the 3rd and Eberle would score another with an empty netter to end this game and leave Seattle fans pleased while bringing Vancouver one step closer to the end. The only thing missing was the all-time points leader Jaren McCann. Besides that, this sucked. I literally fell asleep in the 3rd.
