Went to bed annoyed (thanks Toulouse), woke up annoyed. If I didn't like Randy so much I'd have gone straight back to bed. Also Kade Anderson looks like a stud. 💪 Edit: I can't front and bring the overall rating down too. This was a good game.

Two part delicious feast here. The top pitching prospect in baseball made his debut and we got to witness a walk off winner, both are always fun to see. Let’s start with the former. Kade Anderson is the #5 prospect in all of baseball and the top pitching prospect in MLB. Considering he was also the 3rd overall pick in the 2025 draft, you can say the kid has some pressure on his shoulders. When we look back on his debut, it’ll say he gave up 3 runs in about 6 innings of work. Not bad. The storyline I’m more interested is how he was dealing through 4 shutout innings with only a single and walk allowed. He got caught up on 3rd time through the order, but against a lineup as potent as Chicago’s the kid looked good. The other part was the walk off and the star of that part was Randy. Randy became the 7th player ever to hit a leadoff home run and a walk off home run in the same game. That walk off came after Seattle got two quick outs in the bottom of the 9th, really ratchetin up the drama
