“What’s better than a game where the Angels do absolutely nothing. The Mets got on the board first with a Francisco Alvarez RBI hit, but the Halos did answer back. The Angels rallied right after, and Jo Adell would tie it up with a run scoring base hit. Unfortunately, that would be as good as it got for the Angels. Pete Alonso would hit a 2 run homer in the 3rd inning, and the Angels never threatened again. The Mets would add on a couple more over the course of the rest of the game, but the Halos still were unable to capitalize on any opportunity. Really nice performance from Paul Blackburn as the Mets beat the Angels handily”
