“Stafford vs. Goff, a matchup between the two central figures in one of the greatest win-win trades in sports history. Aidan Hutchinson with one of the most impressive plays I’ve ever seen when he picked off a Stafford pass and nearly scored off it. After that, it was a shootout in the first half, Lions and Rams going back and forth with big plays and touchdowns. In the 2nd half, the Rams took control, albeit with a YD they shouldn’t have gotten. It was definitely short and will be added to the “bad calls that screw the Lions” compilation. Even with that, I will die on the hill that the Rams deserved this win regardless. The tight shootout became a game of catchup for Detroit and they just couldn’t close the gap completely. Puka had a brief injury scare, but seemed okay as he nearly put up 200 yards receiving while Amon-Ra nearly matched him with 165 yards of his own. This was a shootout, but became a one-sided shootout.”
