Happy to see Wolf get a break and Cooley between the pipes once again; I love both my team’s Cali-born goaltenders. Always love to see Connor Zary thriving. He started out hot with a takeaway at his own blue line and converting on the breakaway he created. Malkin laid a dirty hit into Zary after Chinakhov scored, bitch move, but no hard feelings. This game was chippy all the way through which really slowed down the pace. Going into the 3rd, I thought we were gonna see 20 more minutes of clutching, grabbing and hitting before eventually getting OT. Coronato proved me wrong immediately when he rifled home a goal less than a minute in. It looked like the Pens tied it up, but it was called back on a contentious goaltending interference. Penguins really pushed for that tying goal. Cooley just shut the door. The Flames of all teams end the Penguins’ winning streak. More proof our goaltending tandem is set for the next 5 years. Happy to see Ras continuing to be great and Coronato show flashes
